SOCIAL MINISTRIES

 - Sunday Neighborhood Breakfast -

The Neighborhood Breakfast program has been operating every Sunday for over

30yrs at St. Paul's.  Prepared by our voluteers who without fail, volunteer their time and talents for the less fortunate.  What a blessing this is to have such wonderful beings grace us with their presence.  They are:  First Presbyterian Church of Allentown, Northampton Teachers Group, New Goshenhoppen of East Greenville, St. Timothy's of Allentown, the Ferrari Family and many many others that are too many to name.  You know who you all are.  :)

Breakfast is served 8am-9am

 

- Lehigh County Conference of Churches Soup Kitchen -

The LLLC Soup Kitchen led by Charles Brannon, provides a nutritious, well balanced meal to all hungry men, women and children...satisfying their hunger and improving their diet for over 16 years.  These free meals gives them strength and also assists them in saving their dollars as most live at or below the poverty level. 

Hours of operation at St. Paul's:  Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday  12noon - 1pm

- Street Medicine Program -

Dr. Brett Feldman is the founder and director of the Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) Street Medicine Program.  This program is a shelter and soup kitchen based clinic that is held at St. Paul's every Tuesday from 9am-11:30am.  In conjunction with LVHN, a team of nurses from Sacred Heart Hospital or Parish Nursing/Community Outreach of SHH Nurse Ministry are available to provide consult services, assist and help access healthcare informtaion for the less fortunate.  This program provides health screenings, medications and lab tests to all clients.

- NA (Narcotics Anonymous) -

Every person dealing with an addiction has a place they can come to and feel the brotherhood of one another. 

Share your story and you won't be alone in this world.  The following are days and times held at St. Paul's.

Monday - 6:00 pm, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday - 7:00 pm

 

- Crossroads -

Crossroads opened 4yrs ago by Paster Baumann (retired) and long time St. Paul's member, John Lutzko.  Located in the lower level of the parish house, it is opened during the winter months and operates as a day center to provide and allow those seeking shelter from the elements to find warmth and a cup of coffee or two.   

Tentative hours of operation are Monday thru Thursday from 9am-4pm. 

 

- RIPPLE - 

RIPPLE is a Christ centered church that gathers for worship at St. Paul's.  Led by Pastors Tom and Carolyn Albright, this congregation focuses on the community by sharing God's love for all and for all walks of life.  RIPPLE through the use of their gifts and talents, encourages and shares with us the discovery of Jesus as being the center of our lives.  Please click on the link above to learn more about their social ministry.

 

- S.H.A.R.E. -

SHARE is an organization that promotes healthy, wholesome and affordable food for the local community.  St. Paul's is proud to be a part of this mission.
